2016 Results

BAYTOWN, Texas – Feb. 27, 2016 – After coming within a straightaway twice in the last two weeks, Daryn Pittman was finally redeemed Saturday night at Royal Purple Raceway Park as he scored the O'Reilly Auto Parts presents the World of Outlaws hosted by Kasey Kahne, his first World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victory of the season. Donny Schatz charged late but Pittman held the reigning series champion off in lapped traffic. Shane Stewart battled Brad Sweet and Jason Johnson to take the final spot on the podium.

PAIGE, Texas - Feb. 26, 2016 - Joey Saldana led through much of the ATX Rentals Outlaw Shootout but it was Brad Sweet who continued his early World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season momentum as he passed teammate Daryn Pittman exiting the final turn on the last lap en route to his third victory of the season in a photo finish at the inaugural series event at Cotton Bowl Speedway.

BARBERVILLE, Fla. – Feb. 13, 2016 – Brad Sweet continued his roll through DIRTcar Nationals Sunday night as he claimed his second World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victory and the coveted 'Big Gator' as the overall Sprint Week championship. Joey Saldana led early but Sweet, continuing his consistency through the Outlaws nights battled forward and led the final 20 laps. Lucas Wolfe got the late race pass on Saldana and finished in second.

BARBERVILLE, Fla. – Feb. 12, 2016 – One day after suffering his first Did-Not-Finish result since September 2013, Donny Schatz proved he is still the one, as he battled Brad Sweet to score his first World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victory of the season and took night five of sprint week at DIRTcar Nationals.

BARBERVILLE, Fla. – Feb. 12, 2016 – A family feud defined the opening night of the 2016 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season as Brad Sweet and Daryn Pittman, both Kasey Kahne Racing with Mike Curb drivers, battled it out through the 30-lap feature at Volusia Speedway Park during DIRTcar Nationals sprint week. Ultimately it was Sweet who captured the first win with a last lap pass of his teammate. Pittman finished second with Sammy Swindell in third. Donny Schatz ended a DNF streak that started in September 2013 - 178 races in total.
