Pittman Still Leading Standings with Two Races Left on California Spring Break

HANFORD, CA – Fresno, Calif.-based Roth Motorsports went into the World of Outlaws NOS® Energy Drink Sprint Car Series’ month-long California swing with the points lead for the first time in its historic career and may leave with it.

The team’s new driver, 2013 Series champion Daryn Pittman, currently holds the points lead going into the final two races of the swing — Friday, March 29, at Keller Auto Speedway and Saturday, March 30, at Perris Auto Speedway.

 SoCal Showdown to cap off Series month-long California swing

PERRIS, Calif. – The World of Outlaws NOS® Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will return Saturday, March 30, to Perris Auto Speedway, capping off the Series’ California swing throughout March.

Series stars put on a spectacular show the last time they raced on the half-mile track in 2017, demonstrating to fans why the World of Outlaws is The Greatest Show on Dirt.

Placerville Speedway race rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 11

CONCORD, NC – March 20, 2019 — Persistent rain showers and saturated grounds at Ocean Speedway and Placerville Speedway have forced World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and track officials to cancel Friday’s event at Ocean and reschedule Saturday’s event at Placerville to Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Sweet looks to continue Series’ streak of first-time winners this season

CONCORD, N.C. – Five different tracks. Six different winners. It’s the early story to the World of Outlaws NOS® Energy Drink Sprint Car Series’ season, and that story has a good chance of continuing Friday at Ocean Speedway and Saturday at Placerville Speedway.

The Series’ month-long swing through California has produced three different winners in its first three races alone.

Grass Valley, Calif., native Brad Sweet is one of the drivers with his eye on becoming the next first-time winner this season at either Friday’s Ocean Outlaw Showdown or Saturday’s 49er Gold Rush Classic presented by Riebes NAPA AUTO PARTS. He is the only driver to finish in the top-five in the three opening California races.

World of Outlaws ‘California Fire Relief Tour’ opening eyes to devastating wildfires

Throughout the March California swing $1 of every ticket sold will be donated to California fire relief

CHICO, CA – Racing is not the only focus of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series this weekend.

The Series’ California Fire Relief Tour kicks off Friday at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif., and Saturday at Stockton Dirt Track in Stockton, Calif., in an effort to assist the thousands of Northern and Southern California residents still healing from last year’s devastating wildfires.

CONCORD, N.C. – California natives conquered the World of Outlaws NOS® Energy Drink Sprint Car Series’ tour through the Golden State last year and are hoping to repeat that success going into this weekend’s races at Silver Dollar Speedway and the Stockton Dirt Track.
