OUTLAWS RAINED OUT AT RIVERSIDE

WEST MEMPHIS, AR – April 21, 2017 – Due to morning thunderstorms today, the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series is postponing the Bull Ring Outlaw Blitz at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, AR. The Bull Ring Outlaw Blitz has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 3.

All advanced reserved seating tickets for the event will be honored for the rescheduled date on May 3. Fans who purchased tickets for pickup at will call can obtain those tickets on race day.  Advanced reserved seating tickets are still available by visiting WorldofOutlaws.com/Tickets or by calling 844-DIRT-TIX.

Tickets on Sale for Both Events at River Cities Speedway

GRAND FORKS, N.D. — April 17, 2017 — Tickets are now on sale for both legs of the Gerdau Northern Tour for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota and can be purchased online at slspromotions.ticketforce.com or by calling SLS Promotions at 815-344-2023. The 1st Leg of the Gerdau Northern Tour is set for Friday, June 16, with the series returning on Friday, August 18 for the 2nd Leg of the Gerdau Northern Tour. UPDATE ON YOUNG MAN INJURED AT GATOR MOTORPLEX

WILLIS, TX - April 17, 2017 - Morgan Harrod - son of Jennifer Driver, of Surgent, TX - is in stable condition, but still critical and recovering from head trauma at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center after an incident in the pit area of Gator Motorplex during the Gator Outlaw Bash.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the young man who was injured on Thursday night," said Randy and Theresa Waller, owners of Gator Motorplex. "The racing community is a close-knit one and everyone here at Gator Motorpolex is thinking about the boy and his family. Devil’s Bowl Speedway Texas Outlaw Nationals this weekend

CONCORD, NC — April 11, 2017 — A full weekend of events scheduled for when the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series returns to the place of establishment at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15.

The racing world lost a true pioneer last September when Lanny Edwards, co-creator and promoter of the World of Outlaws passed away. On Saturday, during opening ceremonies the sport will pay tribute to Edwards when the family of Lanny Edwards will be presented the Ted Johnson Award — awarded for Outstanding Contribution to Sprint Car Racing. Also included in the special pre-race ceremonies will be a driver salute to Edwards, plus sharing of special memories of Edwards.

CONCORD, N.C. – April 7, 2017 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series rolls into the Hoosier state on Friday, April 28 for an exciting night of racing presented by Wheeler Mechanical Services at Plymouth Speedway before heading south to Tri-State Speedway the following night.

The Outlaws will first tackle Plymouth Speedway on Friday, April 28th. The Series made its debut at the semi-banked, 3/8th-mile oval in Plymouth, IN last season. Joey Saldana sat on the pole for last year’s the inaugural event, but it was the ‘Big Cat’ Brad Sweet that went on to claim the victory. Saldana came home with a top-five finish.

By the Numbers: World of Outlaws at Gator Motorplex in Texas

WILIS, TX — April 6, 2017 — The inaugural Gator Outlaw Bash, featuring the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and Southern United Sprints, hits the track next week on Thursday, April 13 at Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas. The event was originally scheduled for March 4 but was postponed by inclement weather. All tickets from March 4 will be honored on April 13.

The series is finishing up their first West Coast Swing of the season before heading to the Lone Star state. Donny Schatz, the eighth-time and defending series champion has set a torrid pace to begin the season, winning six of the first 12 races and is the current point leader. David Gravel, who is currently second in points, has three wins, while Jason Johnson, Brad Sweet and Logan Schuchart have each been victorious once. This edition of By the Numbers sets the stage for the Gator Outlaw Bash at Gator Motorplex on Thursday, April 13.
