World of Outlaws Welcomes Drydene as Official Motor Oil and Official DEF

CONCORD, NC — Nov. 1, 2018 — The World of Outlaws announced today a partnership with Drydene Performance Products declaring them the Official Motor Oil and Official Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car and Late Model Series.

The Drydene brand has been a commercial and automotive product staple in the mid-Atlantic region dating back to the 19th century. The brand offers a complete product lineup of lubricants, from engine, transmission, and hydraulic oils, to greases, gear lubricants and DEF.

Day One of the World of Outlaws World Finals Moved an Hour Earlier to Avoid Weather

CONCORD, NC — Oct. 31, 2018 — Due to potential showers and thunderstorms on Thursday evening — the first night of the World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am — World of Outlaws and Charlotte Motor Speedway officials have decided to move the race schedule up an hour in order to get the program in before any impending weather hits.

Dale Blaney is the winningest driver in the history of the All Star Circuit of Champions, and has six series championships. He was also the 1998 World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year, won the 2000 Kings Royal, and was drafted into the NBA by the Los Angeles Lakers. Jason Johnson Racing to Continue Jason’s Dream with David Gravel on World of Outlaws Tour in 2019

Kyle Larson Racing Hires California’s Carson Macedo for 2019 World of Outlaws Season

CONCORD, NC – October 30, 2018 – One of the premier rides in all of Sprint Car Racing has been filled as Kyle Larson Racing has tabbed Lemoore, CA driver Carson Macedo for the 2019 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season. Macedo, 22, will compete for the prestigious Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award.

Three-Day World Finals Wraps up Seasons for the Big Three on Dirt this Weekend at Charlotte

CONCORD, NC – The World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am will kick off this week at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, determining the champions for the three premier dirt racing series in the country: the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car and Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds.

Rain Postpones $51,000 to Win Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway to Sunday Afternoon

PORT ROYAL, PA – October 27, 2018 – Consistent precipitation has forced the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and Port Royal Speedway to postpone the $51,000 to win Tuscarora 50 to Sunday, October 28. Gates will open at 11am with the Drivers Meeting scheduled for 12:30pm and cars on the track for engine heat at 1pm.

Friday Night at Port Royal Rained Out; Saturday’s $51,000 to Win Tuscarora 50 Still On

PORT ROYAL, PA – October 26, 2018 – Imminent rain has forced the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and Port Royal Speedway to cancel Friday’s Nittany Showdown. There will be no makeup date. Saturday’s Tuscarora 50, which pays $51,000 to win, is still on as scheduled.

Gravel, CJB to Part Ways after 2018 Season; Shane Stewart hired for 2019 World of Outlaws Season

CARLISLE, PA - October 24, 2018 - In racing, as in life, change is a constant part of the story. After three highly successful years, CJB Motorsports and driver David Gravel will dissolve their partnership at the conclusion of the 2018 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season. Shane Stewart, former driver of the KLR No.2, will pilot the CJB Motorsports No.5 for the 2019 season on the World of Outlaws tour.
