It's RACE DAY at the historic Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas -- site of the first World of Outlaws race in 1978 -- as the World of Outlaws NOS® Energy Drink Sprint Car Series kicks off its doubleheader weekend at the speedway!

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
-Daryn Pittman and Donny Schatz will look for repeat wins at Devil's Bowl Speedway, both having won at the track last year.
-David Gravel will look to continue his winning momentum, going for two wins in-a-row, after winning the last Series race at Arizona Speedway. (He is only the second driver this year to win more than one race. Pittman was the first winning both races at Volusia Speedway Park).
-Brad Sweet holds the points lead, and is on one of the best consistent runs of top-10 and top-five finishes, but Schatz is only four points behind him and Pittman is only 14 points behind Sweet.
-Coming to one of his favorite tracks on the schedule, Shane Stewart is building momentum with his new CJB Motorsports team and will be hungry for his first win of the season.

Grandstand gates open at 4 p.m. followed by Time Trials at 7:30 p.m. Racing will begin at about 8 p.m.

Following the World of Outlaws visit to Devil's Bowl Speedway Friday night, the Series will return to the speedway Saturday night to concluded the doubleheader Texas Outlaw Nationals.
