Attica Raceway Park to host prestige Brad Doty Classic on July 11

WEST LIBERTY, IA — June 20, 2017 — During his first couple of years on the road with the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series, just about every track was a new one for Jacob Allen. Now in year-four with the Outlaws, the number of new tracks he visits each season can usually be counted on one hand. He will encounter a new venue on the schedule this week as the series heads to West Liberty Raceway in Iowa for the first time.

The inaugural West Liberty Hawkeye 25 for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at West Liberty Raceway is set for Friday June 23. Along with a full night of racing for the Outlaws, Modifieds will also be on the card.

SPRING VALLEY, MN — June 20, 2017 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series invades Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN, on Thursday, June 29 for the Clash at the Creek. This will mark the series’ first visit to the track since 2015.

In that event two years ago, Brad Sweet was victorious over eight-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz. Daryn Pittman, who is Sweet’s teammate at Kasey Kahne Racing, led the first two laps of the 35-lapper, before Sweet took command, holding off a late-race charge by Schatz.

Each of the last six editions of the race have had a different winner. This year will mark the 19th season in which the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series have visited Beaver Dam. The Breakdown: World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at West Liberty Raceway

The half-mile located on the Muscatine County Fairgrounds has a rich history of hosting racing. West Liberty Raceway will be one of only two tracks hosting the series for the first time ever in 2017 and one of just two in the state of Iowa to have the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series visit this season. The edition of The Breakdown sets the stage for the West Liberty Hawkeye 25 for the Outlaws at West Liberty Raceway.

Rain forces postponement of World of Outlaws event at Red River Valley Speedway to August 19

WEST FARGO, N.D. — June 17, 2017 —Rain has forced the postponement of the Gerdau Recycling Duel in the Dakotas for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series originally scheduled for Saturday, June 17 at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota.

The event has been re-scheduled for Saturday, August 19. All tickets and pit pass armbands from the originally scheduled race will be honored for that date.

Last year, Bill Balog was victorious in the Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial, earning his first career World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series win. The win was a popular one for the native of Alaska, who now calls Wisconsin home.

SAUK RAPIDS, MN — June 15, 2017 — Only one driver has led laps in both of the previous World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series events at Granite City Speedway in Minnesota. That same driver is also the only one to finish among the top-five in both races. In fact he has finished first and second. Who is the driver? Shane Stewart, who was victorious last season at the three-eighths-mile, after a runner-up finish in the inaugural event for the Outlaws at Granite City Speedway in 2015.

Stewart looks to extend his string of top-two finishes at Granite City Speedway on Tuesday, June 20 as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to the track for the third consecutive season in an event presented by Marthaler Chevrolet of Glenwood.
