World of Outlaws Makes First trip of 2018 to River Cities Speedway on June 15

GRAND FORKS, ND — June 7, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will hit the track at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND on Friday, June 15 for the 1st Leg of the Gerdau Recycling Northern Tour. The event will mark the 12th straight year the Series has visited the high-banked, three-tenths-mile bullring. Also in action will be the NLRA Late Model Series.

In 2017, David Gravel and Donny Schatz split wins at River Cities Speedway. Gravel scored his first win at the track in June, while Schatz was victorious in August. The win for Gravel was one of two in North Dakota during the 2017 season as he also visited victory lane at Nodak Speedway in Minot.

Storm Postpones Opening Night of AGCO Jackson Nationals to Saturday Afternoon

JACKSON, MN - June 7, 2018 - An evening storm has forced Jackson Motorplex and World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series officials to postpone Thursday’s opening round of the 40th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals presented by Casey’s General Stores.

He has 13 World of Outlaws wins, has been a full time Outlaw at various points in his career, and has won numerous track championships at Knoxville and Husets. Action On and Off the Track Highlighting 40th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals This Week

JACKSON, MN. - June 4, 2018 – Jackson Motorplex will host one of winged sprint car racing’s biggest events of the season this weekend. The 40th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals showcases complete World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series races on Thursday and Friday before culminating on Saturday with a $40,000-to-win, $3,000-to-start main event. Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids will also race all three nights with no track points being awarded. Only the finale on Saturday will have IMCA state and national points.

Outlaws Will Return to Bridgeport Speedway in 2019

SWEDESBORO, NJ – May 31, 2018 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and Bridgeport Speedway officials have announced that the event rained out on May 22, 2018, will not be able to be rescheduled during the 2018 season. Both World of Outlaws and Bridgeport officials worked closely looking for a new date but were unable to find an opening that would make sense for both parties. The Outlaws eagerly await their debut on the new configuration at Design for Vision/Sunglass Central Speedway at Bridgeport Speedway next year, as talks for the 2019 schedule have already begun.

David Gravel Chasing Fourth Straight World of Outlaws Win at Wilmot

WILMOT, WI — May 31, 2018 — If it was up to David Gravel, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series would have a handful of races each year at Wilmot Raceway in Wisconsin. Why is that? Because, he is undefeated with the Outlaws at the track, having won each of the three starts he has made at Wilmot with the series.

Up to Speed: World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at Wilmot Raceway

WILMOT, WI — May 30, 2018 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series hits the track at Wilmot Raceway in Wisconsin for the third consecutive year and sixth time overall on Saturday, June 2 for the running of the Badger 40. Last year’s race was a thriller, with David Gravel, Brad Sweet and Shane Stewart trading the lead five times in the final 11 laps of the race. For Gravel, it was his third straight win at the track. This edition of Up to Speed sets the stage for the Badger 40.

On the Podium: Brad Sweet looks to add to success at I-96 Speedway

LAKE ODESSA, MI — May 30, 2018 —No driver has a better average finish at I-96 Speedway over the last three World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series events at the track than Brad Sweet. The California native won at I-96 in 2015, was second in 2014 and ran third in his most recent start at the track in 2016. That trio of podium performances equates to an average finish of second.

Outlaws Postpone Inaugural Visit at Fairbury to Tuesday, June 5

FAIRBURY, IL – May 30, 2018 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will have to wait another week before making its much-anticipated inaugural visit to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (FALS), as Mother Nature has forced the Series to reschedule the FVP Platinum Battery Showdown to Tuesday, June 5.
