CONCORD, NC – November 8, 2017 – Just days after the conclusion of the Textron Off Road World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and subsequently the conclusion of both the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car and Late Model Series seasons, the World of Outlaws are excited to announce that eight races will appear on CBS Sports Network starting November 12, 2017 through New Year’s Eve.

Schatz Outruns Sweet’s Consistency, Gravel’s Explosiveness to Capture 2017 Title

CONCORD, NC – Nov. 5, 2017 – The 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season saw Donny Schatz claim his ninth Series title. Schatz, who turned 40 in August, has now won five of the last six Championships and will chase his tenth title in 2018, but not without heavy resistance from David Gravel, Brad Sweet and the rest of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series regulars.

World of Outlaws Statement on the Passing of Bob Kinser

CONCORD, NC —Nov. 4, 2017 — The World of Outlaws and DIRTcar Racing extend their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bob Kinser who passed away today at the age of 86.

Bob Kinser was inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 1999 in honor of his outstanding achievements as a driver, with over 400 career feature wins. Bob Kinser was a true pioneer of the sport.

“On behalf of World of Outlaws I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Kinser family. Bob was a true icon of the sport that contributed to what it is today; he certainly will be missed,” said World of Outlaws CEO Brian Carter.

Two moment of silences were held tonight during the final World of Outlaws race of the year at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the running of the Textron Off Road World Finals.

CONCORD, NC — Oct. 24,2017 — The arrival of Winter and the frigid northern cold blast has prompted an early cancellation of this weekend’s World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series Outlaw Boot Hill Showdown at Dodge City Raceway Park.

“The Outlaw Boot Hill Showdown is traditionally an outstanding event that everyone looks forward to attending, however, in the best interest of the fans and racers that we have decided to cancel this weekend’s event at Dodge City Raceway Park,” said Series Director Carlton Reimers.

World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series to Crown Champion at World Finals

CONCORD, NC – October 24, 2017 – All dirt roads lead to Charlotte and all race fans should as well. Kokomo Chosen by Fans as iRacing's Next Dirt Track

BEDFORD, MA (October 18) – The World of Outlaws and iRacing.com hosted an online vote to determine the next dirt track to be added to the online racing service. Fans could choose from six well known venues including: Kokomo Speedway, Fairbury American Legion Speedway, Lernerville Speedway, Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, Weedsport Speedway and Cedar Lake Speedway. Ultimately Kokomo Speedway edged out Fairbury by just 118 votes.
