Career World of Outlaws Wins:

World of Outlaws History:

Jason Johnson established himself as a force on the Outlaw tour scoring four wins on the season for the second consecutive season. Johnson had 51 top-ten finishes en route to a career-best sixth in the 2017 Point Standings.

In 2016, Johnson built upon his rookie year, reeling in four wins, 19 top-five and 46 top-ten performances. Arguably his biggest win, an emotional Johnson left his mark in Victory Lane as the 56th annual Knoxville Nationals winner. He also took the checkers in the second night of the World of Outlaws World Finals.

Johnson made his first start with the series in 1998 and has made 179 starts since then. The first World of Outlaws series win of Johnson’s career came at Texas Motor Speedway in 2003 where he battled series champions Steve Kinser and Daryn Pittman to take the win. He also has one preliminary night win at Williams Grove Speedway in 2005.

In his first full season with the World of Outlaws in 2015, Johnson finished 12th in the driver championship points standings and scored the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award.

Previous Racing History:
Johnson, a Louisiana-native, has two nicknames – The Ragin’ Cajun and the Cajun Sensation… Johnson is a five-time American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Tour champion, taking the top prize in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014… NASCAR star Ricky Stenhouse Jr. partnered with Jason Johnson Racing in 2012 to support Johnson’s ASCS championship runs… Johnson has 244 career racing victories… Johnson currently resides in Rocky Mount, MO with his wife Bobbi and son, Jaxx.

"The real reason we chose the series is because it’s the best in the industry. The teams and drivers are so strong and are able to adapt to every track and its conditions we go to. We go to places that some guys race at every week, and then the Outlaws come in and break the track record and dominate. To qualify myself as an Outlaw, I want to be consistently up front and win our fair share of races to carry the banner."
